Selecting a reference currency
Your reference currency is the currency you use most often or that you're most familiar with. It helps you compare the value of each of your accounts by displaying their equivalent value in the currency of your choice.
For example, if the currency you use every day is Great British pounds then you could set your reference currency to "GBP". In other accounts such your Everyday Bitcoin account, CoinJar will display both your native currency and underneath, in Great British pounds.
Please keep in mind that currency values change constantly in relation to one another, so the amount you see will update regularly and is only valid for the moments after you load the page.
Updating your reference currency
- Sign in to your CoinJar Settings.
- Under 'General', you'll be able to see your current reference currency. To the right is an 'edit' button.
- You can now choose between 'AUD', 'BTC', 'GBP', 'EUR', or 'USD'.
- Select 'Save' to keep your changes.
Selecting your CoinJar's language preference
The CoinJar interface can currently be displayed in either English (Australia/UK/US) or Chinese (Simplified/Traditional). To change this setting:
- Sign in to your CoinJar Settings.
- Under Language, choose your language preference and select 'Save' for these changes to take effect.
