Sending and receiving cryptocurrencies safely
Each cryptocurrency comes with its own specific requirements when sending and receiving payments, and it's important you're confident with the requirements surrounding that particular cryptocurrency to ensure no funds are lost. We've provided dedicated Knowledge Base articles for sending and receiving each supported currency below.
Receiving unsupported cryptocurrencies
When you send an unsupported cryptocurrency to a CoinJar cryptocurrency address, there is the risk those funds may be permanently lost. If you have mistakenly sent an unsupported cryptocurrency to CoinJar, please contact Support.
ERC-20
ERC-20 - the Ethereum token standard - is currently supported for a limited range of tokens listed above. Any unsupported ERC-20 tokens sent to CoinJar-generated Ethereum addresses may be lost permanently and unable to be recovered.
