Selecting a reference currency
Your reference currency is the currency you use most often or that you're most familiar with. It helps you compare the value of each of your accounts by displaying their equivalent value in the currency of your choice.
For example, if the currency you use every day is Australian dollars then you could set your reference currency to "AUD". In other accounts such as your Everyday Bitcoin account, CoinJar will display both your native currency and underneath, in Australian dollars.
Please keep in mind that currency values change constantly in relation to one another, so the amount you see will update regularly and is only valid for the moments after you load the page.
Updating your reference currency
- Sign in to your CoinJar Settings.
- Under 'General', you'll be able to see your current Interface reference currency. Click on this to see all options.
- You can now choose between 'AUD', 'GBP', 'EUR', or 'USD'.
