CoinJar charges a small fee depending on the type of transaction. This article provides a summary of the fees charged at CoinJar.
Deposit Fees
Most AUD, EUR, GBP and cryptocurrency deposits into CoinJar are free. However, Instant Buy (Visa or Mastercard) purchases attract a small fee.

Conversion Fees
Converting* or transferring between the following types of accounts will incur a flat 1% fee, based on the transaction amount:
- between cryptocurrency accounts
- between cryptocurrency accounts and Cash Account

Bank withdrawal and outgoing transaction fees
Sending crypto currencies to an external address might attract an outgoing transaction fee. This fee is dependent on the type of transaction and the currency being sent. Please visit our dedicated article for more information on outgoing transaction fees.
AUD, EUR, GBP withdrawals from your Cash Account to your linked bank account are free. There are fees for USD withdrawals. Please visit our dedicated article for more information.
Bank Disputes
Disputing a deposit service transaction, raising an investigation or error correction request with your bank for any reason (fraudulent or otherwise) will result in a dispute fee. The current dispute fee is AUD $38.50, and is subject to change as determined by our payment provider.
