Understanding Swipe fees and limits

CoinJar Swipe fees

You will not be charged transaction, load (when loading from your Everyday Bitcoin account), or inactivity fees when using CoinJar Swipe. While some fees may appear on your statement, we will be absorbing these costs because we want you to experience the power of bitcoin and spend it freely.

With that in mind, the following fees are associated with owning a CoinJar Swipe.

Activity Fee
Ordering Swipe $29 for printing and encoding of Swipe card. No delivery fee.
Activating Swipe No fee.
Loading Swipe

No fee when loading from your Everyday Bitcoin account.

EFTPOS purchase No fee.
EFTPOS withdrawal (cash out) No fee.
ATM (rediATM) $2.00 per transaction.  We recommend EFTPOS withdrawal to avoid this fee.
ATM (non-rediATM) Varies depending on the ATM . The ATM will advise you of the fee prior to confirming the transaction. We recommend EFTPOS withdrawal to avoid this fee.
Inactivity A recurring $4 monthly fee is charged by our payment provider after 180 days of inactivity. Your first inactivity fee can be reimbursed by CoinJar upon contacting Support.
Disputed transaction $10 per incident.
Lost card $29 for printing and encoding of replacement card. No delivery fees.

The following limits are applied to CoinJar Swipe.
