CoinJar supports separate entity accounts - for your company, Self Managed Super Fund (SMSF) or trust. Some features and services such as CoinJar Card are not available to use with entity accounts.

Requirements
- Your company, trust, or Self Managed Super Fund must be registered in Australia.
- Separate Individual CoinJar accounts where requested during the application process.
- For SMSF: A SMSF Trust Deed
- For Trusts: A certified Trust Deed or extract (see below for further information).
CoinJar can accept digital copies of your verification documents.
How to create an account for a Company, SMSF or Trust

Sign-up to CoinJar with an email address dedicated to your company, trust or SMSF.
- Log in to CoinJar using a web browser.

Click on ‘Verify your Info’ in the Getting started section.

Click the Continue button.

Choose your country from the drop down list, then choose the type of account e.g. ‘Company’ or ‘SMSF/Trust’, then click the Submit button.
- Complete the forms on the next several pages to Submit your application.

Once your application is submitted, you will be returned to the Home page and will see an indicator showing that your application is in progress.
Reviewing your application
Each application is manually processed and reviewed by CoinJar’s Compliance Team. Our Compliance Team aims to resolve any verification issues within five business days, and will be in touch if they require anything further.

Trust Deeds
SMSF Trust Deeds
- A full Trust Deed document or extract of the Trust Deed in accordance with the guidance below and certified extracts of any deeds of amendment to the Trust Deed if applicable.
For other Trust types, we need:
- A full Trust Deed document or a certified extract of the Trust Deed in accordance with the guidance below and certified extracts of any deeds of amendment to the Trust Deed if applicable.
- The documents that you provide must be certified in the last 90 days.
A full Trust Deed or extract must include the following pages:
- The front or title page of the trust deed
- Any schedules to the trust deed
- Any pages outlining any Settlors of the trust
- Any pages listing the Trustees
- Any pages listing the Beneficiaries (named or classes)
- Any pages listing the Appointor (if any)
- Execution pages with signatures of the Trustee / Beneficiaries
Certifying Trust Deeds
- The front page of the Trust Deed document must be certified as a true copy of the original as seen by the certifier.
- The certifier must sign and date the extract and provide their name, personal or professional address and qualification as an authorised certifier.
- The certifier must either sign or initial, and number all pages.
Please note:
- The document must be a certified copy.
- The relevant pages must be signed or initialled by the certifier.
- We're unable to accept uncertified copies of Trust Deeds.
Certifying documents
In some circumstances, you may be asked to provide certified documents to support your application (such as a Trust Deed or proof of identity document). Your certifier
A certified copy means a document that has been certified as a true and correct copy of a document by a person in one of the occupations listed below, including all persons described in the Statutory Declarations Regulations 2018. To create a certified copy, one of the persons listed below must write the following on the copy of the document.‘I, [full name], [category of persons as listed below], certify that this [name of document] is a true and correct copy of the original. [signature and date]’ Eligible persons who are allowed to certify identification documents:
- A bank, building society, credit union or finance company officer with a minimum of 2 years continuous service*
- A fellow of the National Tax Accountants’ Association*
- A judge of a court, Justice of the Peace or magistrate*
- A legal practitioner*
- A notary public or the local equivalent
- A medical practitioner including dentist, nurse, optometrist, pharmacist, physiotherapist, psychologist or veterinary surgeon*
- A permanent employee or agent of the Australian Postal Corporation with a minimum of 2 years continuous service
- A police officer*
- A teacher employed on a full-time basis at a school or tertiary education institution*
- An accountant who is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, CPA Australia, the National Institute of Accountants or the Association of Taxation and Management Accountants
- An Australian Consulate or Diplomatic Officer
- An Australian Financial Services Licence holder or their authorised representative (includes any licensed financial advisor) with a minimum of 2 years continuous service
* limited to persons licensed or registered to practice these occupations in Australia.
