How do I sign up?

 Welcome to CoinJar! Signing up for your own CoinJar is simple.  

1. Download the App: Get the CoinJar app from the iOS and/or Android store                                    
2. Sign Up: Open the app and select 'Sign Up' to begin creating your CoinJar.                                
3. Enter Your Email: Provide your email address
4. Review Terms: Read through CoinJar's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
5. Agree to Terms: If you agree, select 'Agree.'
6. Provide Your Details: Enter your first name, last name, and set a secure password.
7. Activate Your Account: After submitting your details, you’ll receive an email with an activation link. Click this link to activate your account.
8. Sign In: Log in to your CoinJar and choose your CoinJar username.

From there, take a look at our Knowledge Base article Exploring the CoinJar app to learn more about what your CoinJar can do. You'll also need to become verified so you can use your CoinJar with your bank account. Finally, be sure to set up Enhanced Security so your CoinJar is as secure as possible.

Who can use CoinJar?

Our platform functions as a cryptocurrency wallet, available through our website as well as iOS and Android apps, and is accessible to users in many parts of the world.

Currently, we require that all CoinJar members be at least 18 years old. If you are a resident of Australia, you can complete the ID verification process to deposit and withdraw AUD, EUR, GBP, trade cryptocurrencies, and use the CoinJar Card for payments.
