Why has CoinJar changed its Terms of Service and Privacy Policy?
CoinJar has established an Australian subsidiary called CoinJar Australia Pty Ltd. With the creation of this subsidiary, Australian CoinJar members will be serviced by CoinJar Australia Pty Ltd. Our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy were updated to reflect this change and to comply with Australian-specific privacy laws, including the Australian Privacy Principles.
How will this impact me?
Over the coming month, we will be making some changes to the deposit methods available to Australian members. However, there will be no other immediate changes to how you use CoinJar or any of our other services.
Do I have to agree to the updated Terms of Service and Privacy Policy?
Yes, all existing Australian members must agree to the updated Terms of Service and Privacy Policy to continue using CoinJar.
You will be prompted to agree to the new Terms of Service and Privacy Policy when you sign in to the CoinJar mobile app or web app. When you agree, your existing agreement with CoinJar UK Ltd will be terminated in favour of a new agreement with CoinJar Australia Pty Ltd.
What happens if I don't agree with the updated Terms of Service or Privacy Policy?
If you don’t agree to the changes, you will be unable to continue using CoinJar’s services. We encourage you to contact CoinJar Support to clarify any questions or concerns you may have about these changes.
I don't see a button to agree to the Terms of Service. What do I do?
The "Agree" button for the updated Terms of Service may be obscured or inaccessible if your device's display zoom is set higher than the default option. We recommend temporarily lowering your device's display zoom to reveal the button.
