Connect your CoinJar Exchange account to TradingView to place market and limit orders, view your balances and manage open orders without leaving TradingView.
Reminder
This integration is available to verified CoinJar customers in Australia and in the UK using a supported web browser. It is not currently available through TradingView’s mobile or desktop apps or the CoinJar mobile app.
Before you begin
You’ll need:
- A verified CoinJar account with access to CoinJar Exchange
- A TradingView account (create a free account or log in to your existing one via browser)
Connecting CoinJar Exchange to TradingView
- Sign in to TradingView using a web browser.
- Select Trade in the upper-right corner.
- In the Trade with your broker window, search for CoinJar.
- Select CoinJar from the search results.
- Sign in to your CoinJar account when prompted.

Review the permissions displayed on the authorisation page and select Authorise.
By authorising the connection, you allow TradingView to:
- Place orders on CoinJar Exchange
- Manage your open orders
- View your CoinJar Exchange balances
Please note that TradingView cannot withdraw funds from your CoinJar Exchange account.
Once connected, CoinJar will appear in the Trading Panel at the bottom of your TradingView workspace.
Placing an order
- Open a market provided by CoinJar. You can do this by searching in the TradingView ticker box (top-left corner) for "COINJAR:BTCAUD". Check that COINJAR appears as the market source.
- Open the Order tab on the right side of the TradingView workspace.
- Choose whether you want to buy or sell.
- Select an order type:
- Market: Requests to buy or sell immediately at the best available prices.

Limit: Lets you choose the price at which you want to buy or sell.
- Enter the number of units you want to trade. For a limit order, also enter your preferred price.
- Review the order details carefully, then select Buy or Sell to submit the order.
CoinJar Exchange’s minimum order requirements apply to orders placed through TradingView.

Viewing and managing orders
The Trading Panel at the bottom of the TradingView workspace displays your CoinJar Exchange activity.
From here, you can:
- View working, filled, cancelled and rejected orders
- Review your order history
- View your account summary and available balance
- Check the notifications log
- Cancel eligible open orders
Your activity will also remain available through CoinJar Exchange.
Viewing the order book
Select DOM in the order panel to open TradingView’s depth-of-market view.
The depth-of-market view displays the CoinJar Exchange order book, including available bid and ask prices and order sizes. It also includes controls for placing and managing orders.
Review the price, amount and order direction carefully before submitting or changing an order.
Fees
There is no CoinJar fee for connecting your account to TradingView. Standard CoinJar Exchange maker and taker fees apply to trades placed through the integration.
