Sending and receiving digital currencies safely
Each digital currency comes with its own specific requirements when sending and receiving payments, and it's important you're confident with the requirements surrounding that particular digital currency to ensure no funds are lost. We've provided dedicated Knowledge Base articles for sending and receiving each supported currency below.
Receiving unsupported digital currencies
When you send an unsupported digital currency to a CoinJar digital currency address, there is the risk those funds may be permanently lost. If you have mistakenly sent an unsupported digital currency to CoinJar, please contact Support.
ERC-20 - the Ethereum token standard - is currently supported for a limited range of tokens listed above. Any unsupported ERC-20 tokens sent to CoinJar-generated Ethereum addresses will be lost permanently and cannot be recovered.
