Welcome to CoinJar! Signing up for your own CoinJar is simple. 

1. 1. Download the App: Get the CoinJar app from the iOS or Android store.
   2. Sign Up: Open the app and select 'Sign Up' to start creating your CoinJar.
   3. Enter Your Email: Provide your email address.
   4. Review Terms: Read through CoinJar's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
   5. Agree to Terms: If you agree, select 'Agree.'
   6. Provide Your Details: Enter your first name, last name, and set a secure password.
   7. Activate Your Account: After submitting your details, you’ll receive an email with an activation link. Click this link to activate your account.
   8. Sign In: Log in to your CoinJar and choose your CoinJar username.

From there, take a look at our Knowledge Base article Exploring the CoinJar app to learn more about what your CoinJar can do. You'll also need to become verified so you can use your CoinJar with your bank account. Finally, be sure to set up Enhanced Security so your CoinJar is as secure as possible. 

Who can use CoinJar?

Our platform can serve as a cryptocurrency wallet - accessible from the web, an iOS app, and an Android app - to people in most parts of the world. 

For the time being, we do require CoinJar members to be at least eighteen years of age. Residents of Australia can complete ID verification to deposit/withdraw AUD, EUR, GBP, trade cryptocurrencies, and make payments using CoinJar Card.
