Edit your profile
Your CoinJar profile consists of your CoinJar's username, email address, name and profile photo. You can update any of these details.
Via the website
- Navigate to your ‘Settings'
- Select the box at the top of the menu that displays your username and email address
- Select 'edit' next to your username, email address or name to change these details
- Tap or click on your profile picture to upload a new image
Via mobile
- Tap 'More' in the bottom right hand corner of your homepage.
- Select the box at the top of the menu that displays your username and email address
- Select 'edit' next to your username, email address or name to change these details
- Tap or click on your profile picture to upload a new image
Update your email address
You can change your email address in your CoinJar's profile at any time. We’ll send a confirmation email to your new email — follow the instructions in this email to finish updating your email address. You may need to check your junk/spam folder.
Manage your contacts
Make sending and requesting payments even easier by adding contacts to your CoinJar.
Contacts can be other CoinJar members, or anyone with a wallet address for any of our supported cryptocurrencies. You can add multiple addresses to the same contact.
To add a contact:
- Navigate to the 'Contacts' section of your CoinJar. (For mobile users this is in ‘Settings’. For web users, this is in the top menu bar)
- Select the ‘+’ icon and then 'Add a new Contact'
- Enter a Nickname, and their CoinJar username if applicable
- Select 'Save'
To add a cryptocurrency address to a contact:
- Navigate to the 'Contacts' section of your CoinJar
- Select your contact and then 'Add wallet address'
- Select the type of wallet address you want to add
- Enter a nickname for the wallet address
- Enter the wallet address
- Confirm these details are correct and select 'Save'
Change your reference currency
You can change your CoinJar’s reference currency at any time, however, to a currency that you’re more familiar with.
You'll be able to set your portfolio balances to display either: Australian Dollar (AUD), British Pound Sterling (GBP), European Monetary Unit (EUR), or United States Dollar (USD).
To change your reference currency:
- Navigate to 'Settings' and select 'General'
- Select ‘Interface’ and then ‘Reference currency’
- You can then change your reference currency
