We're high-key excited to announce some major upgrades at CoinJar that make it even easier and more fun to manage your crypto.

New crypto listings

ARB (Arbitrum) and OP (Optimism) are now available for purchase on CoinJar.

These popular cryptos are the native tokens of two leading Ethereum Layer 2 blockchains, giving you even more investment opportunities.

Crypto upgrades

MATIC has transformed into POL (Polygon).

If you hold MATIC, you can now swap it to POL in your CoinJar for free, ready to trade. 

Introducing multichain 

CoinJar now offers multichain capabilities. This means you have more flexibility when transferring crypto.

Multichain is a term used in blockchain technology that refers to the ability of different blockchain networks to communicate and interact with each other, whereas before they acted separately.

Multichain can help to reduce the need for multiple transactions, which can save time and money, and be more secure.

New networks

  • Expanded ETH support: In addition to ERC-20 tokens, you can now send and receive ETH on both the Optimism and Arbitrum One networks.
  • POL Transfers: POL can now be transferred using both Ethereum and POL networks.
  • ARB and OP Networks: You can now send and receive ARB and OP tokens using the Arbitrum and Optimism networks respectively. This means our customers have more options for faster and cheaper transactions.
