Introduction

To prepare for multi-blockchain support, CoinJar’s ETH & ERC20 deposit addresses have changed.

To deposit Ethereum and ERC20 tokens, please update your app and get a new ETH or ERC20 deposit address by following these steps:

1. Select Deposit.
2. Select Cryptocurrency.
3. Choose the cryptocurrency you’d like to deposit.

Please note:

• ETH & ERC20 deposits are only accepted over the Ethereum network. Any deposit sent over a different network may result in loss of funds.
• ERC20 tokens include USDC, USDT, POL and others. For the full list, please visit: Supported cryptocurrencies.

What happens if I accidentally deposit crypto to the legacy address?

Legacy addresses will still receive deposits for the next 14 months.

From 1 April 2024, legacy addresses will not be supported, with no guarantee that recovery will be possible.

How do I know if I’m using a new deposit address?

To ensure you’re using a new deposit address, please always keep your app updated and follow the steps above.
