UK residents are required under local regulations to wait 24-hours as a “cooling off” period (from account creation), before their account is active (i.e. to deposit, trade, withdraw etc.)

How to make a deposit using Faster Payments

1. Select the Deposit button on the home screen.
2. Select Faster Payments (FPS)
3. Take note of the sort code and your unique account number.
4. Open your bank's app or website, and follow the prompts to make a new payment. This process will be different for every bank.
5. Using the information from point two above, log into your online banking and update your CoinJar Sort Code, Account Number and Account Name details. Ensure that you enter your Account Name into your banking website or app exactly as it appears on CoinJar's FPS deposit screen. Do not use "CoinJar" or "CoinJar UK Limited" as the Account Name within your banking website / app.
6. Enter the desired deposit amount.
7. Confirm the payment.
