Before you send
Check that the receiving wallet supports both the cryptocurrency and the network you select.
CoinJar only shows the networks available for the cryptocurrency you’re sending. If the network you need isn’t shown, don’t send the transfer. Sending on the wrong network may result in permanent loss.

How to send
- Select Transfer in the CoinJar app, or Home on CoinJar web.
- Select Send Crypto and choose the cryptocurrency.
- Enter or select the recipient’s wallet address.
- Choose the network, if prompted.
- Enter the amount, then review the address, network and fee.
- Select Confirm.
Cryptocurrency transfers can’t be cancelled or reversed after they’re sent.
Information some transfers need
- Bitcoin (BTC): CoinJar supports Bitcoin addresses, including Bech32 addresses beginning with bc1.
- Litecoin (LTC): CoinJar supports addresses beginning with L, M or lowercase ltc1, including Taproot addresses beginning with ltc1p. Legacy addresses beginning with 3 aren’t supported.
- XRP: Enter the Destination Tag if the receiving wallet provides one.
- Stellar (XLM): Enter the Memo if the receiving wallet provides one.
- EOS: Enter the Memo required by the receiving wallet.
If you’re unsure whether a tag, memo or network is required, check with the receiving wallet provider before sending.
Sending to another CoinJar customer
Transfers to a CoinJar username or CoinJar receiving address are processed internally. They are usually instant and don’t incur a network fee.
