To withdraw funds into your personal bank account, you will first need to link your bank account to your CoinJar.
Note: You only need to link your bank account to withdraw funds from your CoinJar. You can make a deposit at any time.
Eligibility
To link your bank account, please make sure that:
- You’ve verified your CoinJar.
- Your bank account name and the verified name on your CoinJar are the same.
- You are an Australian resident and you have an Australian, UK or EU bank account.
- Your bank account is not a joint account.
- Your bank account isn’t already connected to another CoinJar.
Steps to link your bank account on CoinJar's website
- Sign into your CoinJar and select More in the top menu bar.
- Navigate to the Linked Accounts section and click Add and then Account.
- Enter your personal bank account details and a nickname for this account.
- Select Link bank account.
- You will then need to make a small deposit of any amount, from this bank account to your CoinJar, to verify that it is a valid and active bank account*.
This can be done using:
- AUD: either PayID or a standard bank transfer
- EUR: SEPA
- GBP: Faster Payments
Your bank account will be linked as soon as your deposit reaches your CoinJar. You can then instantly transfer funds from your CoinJar to your linked bank account.
Steps to link your bank account on the CoinJar app
- Go to the More tab in the bottom right hand corner of your CoinJar.
- Select Linked accounts.
- Click on Link new bank account.
- Enter your bank account details and a nickname for this account.
- Select Link bank account.
- You will then need to make a small deposit of any amount*, from this bank account to your CoinJar, to verify that it is a valid and active bank account.
