Residents in the following regions will be able to complete identity verification:
- United States: You must be a U.S. citizen or hold a valid US visa.
Supported devices
Identity verification can be started using CoinJar in a web browser, or CoinJar's mobile app for iOS and Android.
If you're using CoinJar's mobile app, you can check whether your device is compatible by heading over to your device's app store.

Supported documents
We can accept any of the following documents to process your identity verification. You may need to provide a second document in rare circumstances.
- Passport: valid and in good condition.
- Driver’s License: valid license in good condition showing your current address.
- State-issued ID card: valid and in good condition showing your current address.
- Residency Permit Card: valid and in good condition.
