Address Book

CoinJar’s Address Book feature simplifies your crypto transactions by allowing you to save and manage your frequently used addresses.

The address book feature has been integrated when sending cryptocurrency making it easy to quickly add new addresses or select a saved address to send to.

Adding an address

  1. To start tap/click the "Send" button.
     
  2. Select the cryptocurrency account you wish to send from.
     
  3. You will then be given the option to select who you wish to send funds to.
     
  4. Select the "wallet address" option.
     
  5. Enter in the wallet address you wish to send to and double check that the network is correct. You can also add and save Travel Rule information for the address.
     
  6. To save the address to your address book by clicking the checkbox next to 'Save to your address book'.
     
  7. Enter in a nickname for the address, this is the name that will be displayed in your address book. The nickname can be edited later on if you wish to change it. Once you have added a name click/tap the "Next" button.
     
  8. Enter the amount of cryptocurrency you wish to send and select "Next".
     
  9. You will now be on the review & send screen where you will be able to see the amount being sent, the address that the cryptocurrency is being sent to and any fees. You will also see that the address has the nickname that your previously entered indicating that it is being saved to your address book.
     
  10. If everything looks okay hit the "Confirm" button, your transaction will be processed and the address will be added to your address book.

Sending to a saved address

  1. To start tap/click the "Send" button.
     
  2. Select the cryptocurrency account you wish to send from. Once you have selected your cryptocurrency you will then be given the option to select who you wish to send funds to.
     
  3. Select the "Address book" option.
     
  4. Select the saved address you wish to send to.
     
  5. Enter the amount of cryptocurrency you wish to send and select "Next".
     
  6. You will now be on the review & send screen where you will be able to see the amount being sent, the address that the cryptocurrency is being sent to and any fees.
     
  7. If everything looks okay hit the "Confirm" button, your transaction will be processed and sent to saved the address.
