How do I sign up?

Thanks for choosing CoinJar! Signing up for your own CoinJar is simple:

1. Download the CoinJar App: Available on the iOS App Store and Google Play Store.   
2. Create Your Account: Open the app and select  'Sign Up.'                                                                 
3. Enter Your Email: Provide your email address. 
4. Review Terms: Read CoinJar's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If you agree, click 'Agree.'    
5. Complete Your Details: Enter your first and last name and set a secure password.                        
6. Activate Your Account: You will receive an email with an activation link. Click this link to activate your account.
7. Sign In: Log in to your CoinJar account and choose your username.

From there, take a look at our Knowledge Base article Exploring the CoinJar app to learn more about what your CoinJar can do. You'll also need to become verified so you can use your CoinJar with your bank account. Finally, be sure to set up Enhanced Security so your CoinJar is as secure as possible. 

Who can use CoinJar?

Our platform serves as a cryptocurrency wallet to people in most parts of the world - accessible from the web, our iOS app, and our Android app. 

For the time being, we require CoinJar members to be at least eighteen years of age. Residents of the United Kingdom (including residents of England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland) can complete ID verification to deposit/withdraw GBP, EUR, AUD and trade cryptocurrencies.
