Accessing the address book

If you wish to manage your saved addresses you can access the address book both via the CoinJar app and the CoinJar Website

In the CoinJar App

1. Tap on "More" in the bottom right of the screen.
2. Tap on "Address book".

On the CoinJar Website

1. Click on "More" near the top of the screen.
2. Click on "Address book".

Adding a new saved address

Adding a new address in the CoinJar App

1. Tap on "More" in the bottom right of the screen.
2. Tap on "Address book".
3. Tap on the "Add address" button at the bottom of the screen.
4. Select the currency associated with the address you are adding (eg BTC) and then enter in the address. We strongly recommend that you copy and paste the address rather than manually typing it in to avoid errors.
5. Make sure you take note of the network that the address runs on and confirm it is the correct one.
6. Enter a nickname for the address (this is what will be displayed in your address book)
7. Press the "Save" button at the bottom of the screen

The address will now be saved in your address book.

Adding a new address on the CoinJar Website

1. Click on "More" near the top of the screen.
2. Click on "Address book".
3. Click on the "Add address" button near the top right of the screen.
4. A modal will pop up and and prompt you to select the currency associated with the address you are adding (eg BTC).
5. You will then need to enter in the address you wish to save. We strongly recommend that you copy and paste the address rather than manually typing it in to avoid errors.
6. Make sure you take note of the network that the address runs on and confirm it is the correct one.
7. Enter a nickname for the address (this is what will be displayed in your address book)
8. Press the "Save" button at the bottom of the screen

The address will now be saved in your address book.

Editing a saved address

You are able to edit the nicknames of saved addresses to do however please note you are not able to edit the address itself. 

Editing a saved address in the CoinJar App

1. Tap on "More" in the bottom right of the screen.
2. Tap on "Address book".
3. Tap on the saved address you wish to edit the nickname of.
4. Tap the "Edit" button.
5. Tap on the displayed name and edit the details.
6. Press the "Save changes" button at the bottom of the screen to confirm the changes

The nickname for the address will now be changed in your address book.

Editing a saved address on the CoinJar Website

1. Click on "More" near the top of the screen.
2. Click on "Address book".
3. Click on the on the saved address you wish to edit the nickname of.
4. Click on "Edit" near the top right of the screen.
5. A modal will pop up with the current name of the address, click on the name field and begin editing.
6. Click the "Save changes" button to confirm the changes

The nickname for the address will now be changed in your address book.

Removing a saved address

If you need to delete a saved address from your address book you can do so easily by following the below instructions

1. Tap on "More" in the bottom right of the screen.
2. Tap on "Address book".
3. Tap on the saved address you wish to delete
4. Tap the "Remove address" button.
5. Tap on the "Confirm" button

The address will now be removed your address book.

1. Click on "More" near the top of the screen.
2. Click on "Address book".
3. Click on the on the saved address you wish to edit the nickname of.
4. Click on "Remove address" button near the top right of the screen.
5. A modal will pop up asking you to confirm if you wish to remove the address. Click on the "Confirm" button

The address will now be removed your address book.
